The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 19,

    CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 423(JUD)                                                                  
    "An Act relating to accidents involving the vehicle of a person                                 
    under the influence of an alcoholic beverage."                                                  
                                                                                                    
Representative Gruenberg moved and asked unanimous consent that                                     
CSHB 423(JUD) be returned to second reading for the specific                                        
purpose of considering Amendment No. 2.  There being no objection,                                  
it was so ordered.                                                                                  
                                                                                                    
Amendment No. 2 was offered  by Representatives Gruenberg and                                        
Anderson:                                                                                           
                                                                                                    
Page 2, line 18:                                                                                    
    Delete "or"                                                                                     
                                                                                                    
Page 2, line 20, following "coverage":                                                              
    Insert "; or                                                                                    
              (3)  limit the ability of a person to recover damages under                           
    any applicable liability insurance coverage purchased by or on                                  
   behalf of the person being transported under (a) of this section"                               
                                                                                                    
Representative Gruenberg moved and asked unanimous consent that                                     
Amendment No. 2 be adopted.                                                                         
                                                                                                    
Objection was heard and withdrawn.  There being no further objection,                               
Amendment No. 2 was adopted.
